You may have "heard" that Foxes have been learning to play in a Brass band! Parents and carers came to our Brilliant Brass concert in December where the children all impressed us, and their music teacher Mr Randall, with their brick-shaped sounds, a variety of musical notes and rhythms and that all were playing in time with each other. They even performed the world premier of the Witchampton Fanfare and the classes' very own Stones and Bones composition! Thank you to parents for encouraging your children to practise at home for the 10 weeks. We are fortunate to have been given this opportunity from the Dorset Music Service as part of their Musicianship Programme. There are 6 children carrying on for another 2 terms of learning a brass instrument - this time the French horn!
