We celebrated our love of books in style on World Book Day this year. Everyone dressed up as their favourite book character and we started our day with a parade for families up on the playground. It was lovely to see so many families staying for refreshments afterwards. During the day we welcomed the local author Tristan Hutton who read his new book ' The Ant Team' with us. All of the children took part in many story telling activities and impressed us with their hot seating and story telling skills. We finished the day with buddy reading across the school and everyone had a book of their choice to keep.  A wonderful day was had by all!
