Election at Witchampton
The children at Witchampton CofE First School took part in their very own Election on Thursday 8th June. The School Council had chosen 3 different projects for the school to contribute to.
These were:
- buy an African family a piglet, a cow and some tools
- give money to Wimborne Food Bank
- but playground equipment for our school
Like the adult election, the children went into a booth to put their cross on a ballot paper. They then posted their ballot paper into a ballot box. The votes were counted by two members of the School Council.
The winning project was buying an African family a piglet, a cow and some tools.
